Irene Blanck visits us from Melbourne

IRENE BLANCK VISITS THE SHOP
 
If you don't know Irene, she is a teacher and pattern designer based in Melbourne.  She came and showed us some of her wonderful quilts.
 

 
She showed Val Moore's Friday girls her quilts.

 
We have a selection of Irene's patterns on the web-site under patterns.  Take a look and see if one of them needs to come to your house.  We will be in discussion with Irene to see if she can teach next year.

This is staffer Lindy's version of Karen Cunningham's Fancy Quilt.  So relieved that she can miter so well adn the colours speak for themselves.

What a wonderful interprtation of Judy Newman's Museum Medallion Quilt pattern.  Black and white with just a touch of red.  We have the pattern on the web-site.
