More Summer School

Well the heat has almost overcome us today, but I guess we are all in the same hot & sweaty boat.

We had day two of Sue Ross's Double Wedding Ring with a Twist today. Some of Marian's blocks are shown below, together with five of her Grandma's Star blocks.

We have places available in Sue's Sunday class at the moment.  Just give the shop a call if you would like more information.

Marian, who is astoundingly prolific, also produced her one and a quarter blocks from Liz's No Tears Foundation Piecing summer school class a few weeks ago. Beautiful, don't you think?

And as promised, some more antique quilts from our Airing of the Quilts.

Here is Maree Gebhardt with one of her beauties circa 1930-40.

Beautiful!

Now that is one amazing double wedding ring and in perfect condition, look at the beautiful curved and bound edge.

A couple more of Barbara Brackman's Civil War blocks.

Janet and Melinda's Stars upon Stars blocks. Quite similar this time.

More next week.
