I spent a wonderful day yesterday at the Glebe Island Quilt and Craft Show.

I just love the venue it is so light and airy and warm, even on a wet winter's day.

My congratulations goes to the N.S.W. Quilter's Guild for the excellent quilt show.  There are 410 quilts in the Exhibition.  WOW

Here is this year's winner of The Best Original Interpretation of a Traditional Quilt Award.  This Award is sponsored by Quiltsmith and judged by me.

Congratulations Catherine Butterworth for "Carnaby Street".

Here it is without the distractions.

We would love to see in the shop so you can met this wonderful quilter from Melbourne, and enjoy her drop dead gorgeous book.

RED & WHITE EXHIBITION

Some years ago the N.S.W. Quilter's Guild threw out a challenge to its member's to make Red & White Quilts for the 2015 Quilt Show.  Did the membership take up the challenge !!!

I'm very proud to have been the major sponsor for the Challenge with Bernina.

Look at all the quilts in the background.

Best Red & White was awarded to Merelyn Pearce for
Red Deer with Poppies and 274 Roses.

Congratulations,

Here are a few other quilts I snapped.
