Hi Everyone
We are back to running our normal classes now, Summer School is over. I hope that everyone who played at Summer School enjoyed themselves. That they feel inspired to create quilts to treasure.
WHAT'S NEW
Love this Collection, it a reproduction range, my guess Circa 1900, but the palette is strong and just wonderful for what I call those crossover quilts. Where you combine reproduction prints with "modern" prints.
CLASS ACTION
We have focussed on how the regular classes look for this year, and we saw that there are a number of vacancies in classes that have been "full" for years. So now is your chance to grab a spot in these classes.
Margaret Sampson-George - the 1st Tuesday of the Month
Lynne Alchin - the 3rd Saturday of the Month
Anne Sommerlad - the 2nd Tuesday or the 4th Wednesday of the Month.
To book in please call the shop on 02 95504947.
KWIK - STICK PANTS WORKSHOP
with Anne Sommerlad
This Workshop was so popular at Summer School we have organised another Workshop on short notice for those who couldn't get into that Workshop. There is something about making a pair of easy pants that actually fit you that is very appealing. I was one of the people who didn't make it into the Summer School Workshop. We have a few places vacant.
Kwik Stick Pants Workshop - Thursday 21 February. Please ring the shop 02 95594947 to more details and to book your spot.
BRIGITTE GIBLIN
Firstly, a big welcome to Brigitte Giblin and all her students. Here are some shots of her class.
Here's Brigitte, working on her IPurse.
The Class
We have Brigitte's book Feathering the Nest back in stock now. I know numbers are getting short and the book will need to be reprinted shortly.
Margaret- Sampson George's first class for the year.
Lyn has finished her stunning quilt. Wow.
Anne Sommerlad's first class. Everyone seemed very busy.
