HAND QUILTING

It's definitely quilting weather.

Linda  covers the basics of hand quilting including types of wadding, needles and thread, pattern selection, how to prepare a top for quilting.

HAND EMBROIDERY EMBELLISHMENT

Join the Prints Charming girls, Kirsten and Kath and thread a needle and start stitching!    We love embroidery and the way it adds so much colour and texture to fabric, it is the most creative way to paint with thread. Choose a hand printed panel and learn or re visit embroidery stitches that we love and use over and over. Don’t follow a pattern, be inspired to use a variety of stitches and threads to create your own piece.  Learn the stitches and you’ll never look at fabric the same way again!

SPRING GRANDIFLORA



Spring Grandiflora Mystery Quilt is a hand pieced, hand/machine finished original quilt design for beginner/intermediate/experienced quilt makers.  It is a paper pieced pentagon based, floral fabric block quilt using Kaffe Fassett, Philip Jacobs, Amy Butler or similar large bright print fabrics. This quilt design was designed exclusively for and recently launched at the 1^st International Quilt Festival of Ireland and highlights the use of Alan Tremain’s new ‘Emotional Response to Colour for Quilters’ colour theory.
