Becky Goldsmith Lecture

We had a great time on Sunday listening to Becky.

Here are Melinda and Becky before the talk.

Our classroom was filled with familiar faces all here to hear Becky talk.

Vicki and Melissa both looked gorgeous and check out that wonderful blue in Melissa's top.

Jenny Rosalky deep in conversation.

And of course there were quilts. The machine quilting on this one was spectacular!

Becky also showed us samples of her new fabric line which we hope to stock when it is released in the new year.

All in all a great afternoon.

Fabric Packs

In the last couple of weeks in response to customer feedback we have introduced fat eight packs of reproductions fabric. Each pack features a colour and we now have packs in all the colours of the rainbow. Customers tell us they are great value for money and add a wonderful scrappy element to their quilts without having to buy large pieces of fabric.

It's impossible to put these packs on the website but if you are after a specific colourway give us a call in the store and we're sure you won't be disappointed. Of course next time you're in store make sure you have a look.

Priced at $25.00 per pack.

Home to Roost Bird Fabric

Arriving in store this week are two fabrics those of you in Karen Cunningham's class have been waiting for. We have the bird fabric and aged muslin Karen is using in her Folk Art quilt.

The bulk packs of the 1 1/4 " stars and 3/4 " hexagons are in store also.

The aged muslin is difficult to photograph but if you love reproduction fabrics come in and have a look as it something different from what we have seen before and we can't wait to see how our customers use it.

Also in store and on the website is one of the loveliest fabric ranges we have seen in a long time - Vanity Fair. Karen has told us she is working on a quilt for next year featuring this range. We have the entire range available now. Again if you love reproduction quilts, a must look at. Think English pretty and you get a feel for this range.
